Isaac + Joe…
were married at the one-and-only Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico. They wanted to have an intimate wedding with a garden party reception combining their love and connection to the majestic Rocky Mountains and the iconic Statue of Liberty. This beautiful and oh-so-chic wedding is a true love story and filled with so many unique and personal touches.
The sweetest touch
Isaac’s wedding ring was custom made with real copper from the Statue of Liberty. His deep admiration for this iconic monument was thoughtfully curated as Joe surprised him with his ring with authentic copper, which is incredibly RARE to source! The ring served as a powerful symbol of love, freedom, and unity.
Colorado and New Mexico in love…
As a wedding planner, I’ve had the privilege of creating and witnessing magical moments for couples and can say that Isaac and Joe’s wedding at Los Poblanos was truly exceptional. The couple wanted to symbolize their unity and love for Colorado and New Mexico and did so by taking the landscape of the Lavender farm and a floral arch using all white to create a picturesque stage for a their dreamy wedding. The florals were inspired and designed to create the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. (I mean WOW…. did you see the floral arch?!)
Between the ‘Rocky Mountain’ arch and the sprawling property at Los Poblanos with its lush gardens, vibrant lavender fields, and adobe-style architecture, they created the wedding of their dreams. In fact, they loved their vision come to life so much that they plan on re-creating the scene for their one year anniversary.
Everyone is invited!
Adding to the fun, Isaac and Joe created an inclusive environment by starting off the evening by inviting their guests into their first look. Guests were also lined up outside of the portal (Los Poblanos’ covered patio outside of the gardens where the ceremony was held) so they could be included in the wedding procession, leading the officiant and husbands-to-be to their aisle.
It’s all in the details
Isaac and Joe’s wedding truly had so many personal touches; from their hand written letters to EVERY.SINGLE.GUEST (including me… awww I love you guys so much!!!), personal photo albums, love notes/marriage advice to the couple, and my personal favorite touch… their ceremony!
One could say there was a third star of the show – the couples Australian Cobberdog served as the most handsome ring bearer we have ever seen (and such a good boy!)
Isaac and Joe wanted their officiant to stand behind all the guests so they could look at everyone and say their vows. This is a major 2023 Wedding Trend and I am here for it!!!!
Isaac and Joe were so fun and amazing to work with and they treated our team like family. It was such an amazing wedding day and I wish them the best kind of forever love!
XOXO,
Ashley
